Movie Theater Question about "Shooter"

I watched this movie yet again last night. I have a question.
All throughout the action scenes in the movie, Mark Wahlberg is using a pair of binoculars. They have a ranging reticle in them. They have a gold cursive letter R on the front where the adjustment ring would be.

Anyone have any idea what brand these are? At first I though they might be Steiners, but not with that letter R on them.

Just a little trivia question.

My only question is why is one of the "heros" of the movie wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the face of a murdering communist thug?

Why was a picture of that same person up in one of the current President's Campaign offices during the election? Because they don't understand history.

Mark scrached his balls 14 min 23 sec into the movie, was it his left or right that needed to be iched?

If you look carefully, in frame 20 at the stated time, you can clearly see that it's his left.
