How many tactical stock makers make a ADL stock? I didn't think much about this untill I called McMillan, they make one but they have a six month wait time unless someone can give me the name of a place that stocks them. I called HS Precision They carry ZERO. They have some ADL in their hunter series but not their tactical series. So I just stopped there and thought I would post here to save time. Thanks.

I recently got a chaote and its a great stock. The V channel full aluminum bedding block is a nice feature. I like the V block over the regular one. I took my rifle to the range and was able to get .400's with 10 shots out of 20 rounds of 168 FGMM ammo then another 5 shot group of .250 and a group of 1.200" at 200 yards. Also had the stock trigger which I can not stand and now have a timney 510 installed in it and ready to hit the range again. So the Choate stock is not bad at all.

The Choate Tactical is the POOR MANS A5, no 6 month wait, yes its a little heavier (OUNCES MAN OUNCES) unless you get the EDGE option then its more like a pound and a half...the V Block locks up an action rock solid, no need for bedding has 95% of the ergonomics of the McMillan A5 and is 1/3 to 1/4 the price of a nice custom...

Is it as good as an A5? Nope but its about 90% as good and I spent the other $400 on brass, powder and primers...and I was shooting the next day after it arrived 3 days from placing the order...
