I have a 26" 6.5 CM barrel on my AE MKII. Shot it yesterday with 120 AMAX factory rds with good results. I checked the OAL of a 140 AMAX projectile with a Hornady OAL gauge and the OAL with the bullet touching the lands was 2.810. I didn't record the dist to the ojive but the COAL was 2.810". That seems pretty short to me considering the length of a factory rd is 2.810". That seems awful short to me as I know guys are loading rds much longer. Anyone else with the same barrel have the same or similar results or am I out to lunch.
