Question for tactical match directors

Re: Question for tactical match directors

For mine, no we do not do that.

The prizes and all. But we have a local $45 match so its pointless for prizes or for us to win.

Re: Question for tactical match directors

For the major matches with a prize table, we do not (although we may shoot a portion of it for fun as a house team), and the CoF is not known to anyone other than staff.

For regularly scheduled club matches we sometimes do, but we publish the CoF publicly, and well in advance so everyone has equal time to absorb it.

Re: Question for tactical match directors

Not the MD, but AZLRPRS's big match, the TPRC we do not. However, the RO's and MD and volunteers shoot a full COF trying everything out as a last run through, and that's been our "match" for bragging rights and sometimes sponsors will specify some donated prizes to go to the RO's.

Never mixed with registered competitor's scores.

Monthly matches-we take turns running them, and if we want to run it and shoot we do, but performance usually suffers when trying to run a 20ish shooter match and shoot too....

Re: Question for tactical match directors

I sometimes shoot in mine but don't ever take any prizes as director. I let my RO'S shoot also but they have to go first every stage which makes thing tough, they however are eligible for prizes because i make sure they don't know the cof any earlier than anyone else.

Re: Question for tactical match directors

PMG staff shoots the stages several times the week prior to the match and walking, medium and running paces to make sure targets are hitable and to set our time limits. So no, we don't shoot during the match or take any prizes.
