question.... friend gave me a load to try out my 308

Im curious to see if this load is safe or not...
46.75 gr imr 4350 in MIL casing 178 gr amax
according to my nosler book the max load is 50 gr... so it should be safe....but its also a old book
would this be safe to shoot?

Should do just fine, if that indeed is the powder type and amount that's in there....

ill be loading it... i just didnt want to put together something that wouldnt work...
the rifle im shooting has less than 50 rounds down the tube.... just wanted to make sure

Does your scale weigh to hundredths of a grain? I'd start at 47 and work up for a node.
