Yes. I own the Fusion 1 mile, and owned the previous Fusion 1600. Both use the same range finder electronics, and both use the same ballistics engine. The difference is that the newer "1 mile" version uses an LED display for the range finder output instead of a traditional light. The older fusions had a slight blue tint when you looked through them. It wasn't noticeable in daylight but it did make them darker in low light. The blue was from a coating that Bushnell added to reduce glare from the display of the rangefinder data in the field of view. By using LEDs in the newer 1 mile version, Bushnell was able to eliminate the blue coating and thus the 1 mile version is brighter in low light (considerably). There was also a slight form-factor change (shape), but nothing dramatic.
All in all, I LOVE them, especially the 1 mile (again, considerably brighter). The range finder is outstanding, and the ballistics curves are very accurate. I spoke to Aaron Davidson (CEO of G7, who makes an amazing range finder), and even he said the range finder in the Fusions is outstanding. As far as binos go, they're very good. They're not Leicas, but they're very good. And the range finder with ballistic correction data is fantastic.
The only way to get a better setup, in my opinion, is to get the new Leica Geovid HD-B. AMAZING glass, and a ery good range finder. But (in my opinion), the way the data is displayed isn't as good. Example, my rifle needs 5.5 moa of elevation for 400 yards. The Bushnell Fusion displays "5.5 MoA". In the HD-B, your options are inches, Mils, of 1/4 moa clicks. So it would have displayed "22 clicks". When you're hunting, it's superfast to dial till you see the 5.5 hash marks, but counting 22 times takes too long.
So the HD-B glass is quite superior (you have to see it to believe it), and the range finder is good, but you sacrifice the presentation of the result. The HD-B's are $3,0000; the Fusions are about $1,200. If the HD-B didn't have that issue with the presentation, I was close to buying them. But when I saw it, there was no way I was going to drop $2k more and still sacrifice. So I sold my older Fusions, bought the "1 mile" versions, and love them.
Hope that helps.
