This did not happen to me but if someone ever do this to you.

If someone stole your identity and used your information to buy a house can you sell that house? Even if they were living in that house?

An interesting question. Using that logic, if the ID Thief raped someone, would you have to go to jail?

Met a lady once who had her identity stolen by her sister. Sister got a FL driver's license and got two DUI's in her sisters name. Not sure how that worked out. Can't imagine someone buying a house using ID theft, seems a little too tracable.

I would burn the motherfucker down and make sure the sonofabitch was inside of it. Some things just demand the most basic levels of whoop ass you can offer.
I had messicans steal my ID way back in the day so it affects me at a level way way down deep

Most contracts are nulled upon the discovery of fraud. Ownership of the house would be pending the criminal and civil investigation under mortgage fraud. You could be awarded the home during the property hearing, but that is up to the judge. I would go direct with the finance company and investigating authorities to see what options you have.
