Question on the Midway Shooter's Mat

My Midway Shooter's Mat arrived today. I bought it in the recent black friday sale. I'm pleased with it and I just wanted to make sure that I am correct in thinking that the strip of wide fabric tape towards the front of the mat is intended to capture the feet of the bipod?

Correct. You can load your bipod until it hurts with that thing.

Yea that's what I do with mine...works well for loading the bipod up as mentioned.

got mine today, a little bigger than expected especially since I'll be backpacking with it.

Got mine yesterday. Little bigger than I expected but like it. Nice and 'sticky' for the bipod, even without using the front bipod capture.
