I have been reloading .45, 9mm and .223 for a few years now. I have a spare Rockchucker Press and was thinking about setting it up specifically for reloading .308 as I am gonna try getting into the precision game. The last time I used the Rockchucker I was using it with the die set past the furthest stroke of the ram. I noticed that I could push the handle past the furthest extent of the ram. I am having trouble explaining this but the handle seemed to cam past a point at which it should stop. Can anyone tell me if this is normal. I am asking because I think this would cause me to get inconsistent results when shoulder bumping .308 cases.
