Rifle Scopes Queston about setting Zero Stop turret knob

I apologize if this seems obvious to others. I just purchased and received my first 'real' rifle scope, a Vortex Razor HD, so this feature is new to me.

Zero Stop elevation turret: Do you set it to be "zero" at the minimum distance that you'll likely engage? I'm thinking 91 meters (100 yards) but not sure if there is something I'm missing.

You set it where you zero.

Most zero at 100 so that no matter what you are adding elevation to engage, even at a 7 yard target.

Most will put stop at 100, others that sight in 200 may leave some clicks, but only .3mil or 1 MOA maybe.
