quick 300 BLK question

ok, i got a CMMG upper in 300 BLK for a good deal, plan on shooting mostly subs through it but like the idea of supers for whitetail.

my question is (and i already called CMMG...they were a little vague as to the answer)

they told me my 300BLK is set up with a pistol gas port of 77 thousandths and that this setup is designed to shoot subs with a can and cycle but may, MAY bounce the bolt or cause issues with supers.

am i going to have to add an adjustable gas block, heavier buffer, or what to shoot both without causing issues

I'd start with trying a heavier buffer first since it's cheaper and easier.

cool. how do i know if a) there is a bolt moving too fast issue and b) its fixed.
