I have a McMillan A5 I purchased a while ago and was interested in adding qd sling mounts but have a question.
I thought the idea of these mounts was to be able to carry the rifle flush against your back, but I often see these mounts on the same side as the bolt handle...wouldn't it make carrying it a bit uncomfortable. Am I missing the idea (very possible)?
