Quick OCW question on charge weight increments

Well, I'm working up a load for a new 308. I have 5 different charge weights that are in 0.4 grain increments. They go 43.4, 43.8, 44.2, 44.6, and 45.0 grains. I'm second guessing now. Should I have made the increments tighter like 0.2 grains?

I think Dan recommends 1% increase between charge weights. I would recommend 0.4 gr increments for 308 and then go back and fine tune your charge weight and seating depth in another test.
