I just called a gun shop not too far from me, and they have 1 Remington 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD for $600.

Is that a good price?

Buds had 'em for 570 shipped but if you are paying a transfer fee, it's a wash, and they are currently out. They still have .223's for 550.00 shipped.

Okay cool. Should come to about $650 w/ tax and background check.

I'll just have to stare at it for a week or two until I have the funds for the scope, mount and rings.
