The question is: What is the best way to mount a scope in a quick release manner?

1__Scope_Mount

1.Ablity to keep zero when mounted
2.Still have zero after remove/re-attachment
3.Ease of removal/re-attachment

I am planning on mounting an bushnell elite 6500 2.5-16x42 tactical on to my M1A in Troy MCS stock with flip-up iron sights. And was hoping for a single base vs 2 individual rings.

Re: Quick Release Scope Mounts

There are numerous QR type mounts, including the American Defense mount you linked to above. My preferred throw lever/QR mounts are those from Larue Tactical. I have approximately a half-dozen of these mounts on various rifles and they are all excellent...see here:

Larue has several advantages, including amazing return-to-zero ability when removing and reinstalling the mount, tight lock-up for stability, and several different mounts with varying heights and degrees of built in forward cant (10MOA to 30MOA), and rings from 1" to 34mm to accommodate almost any option (including your Bushy Elite 6500).

Re: Quick Release Scope Mounts

Every, single mount I have....scope, light, laser, red-dot, magnifier, NV, etc. is from LaRue. Bullet-proof construction, lifetime warranty (REAL), RTZ, and overall great people to work with. IMHO, they ARE the gold standard of mounts.

Re: Quick Release Scope Mounts

The ADM mount are really nice they are one of my favorites for AR platform setup, but that mount is going to be too high for an M1A. I would recommend getting the ARMS MED. QD rings. The ARMS will get the scope lower making a more of a comfortable shooting position.

We have the ADM and ARMS in stock.

A:
LT-104 or LT-135 after inquiring about clearing the troy flip ups clearance issue.

B:
Yes it is going to be high because of a clearance issue with the sights. However there is a magpul PRS stock on it to help with keeping a cheeck weld.

LaRue was the best option till Bobro came around.
