Hi all, I need some help with quick load. Unfortunately I can't afford it atm, but I do want it (lost my job recently and all that jazz)
I am currently loading up some hunting rounds for spring bear. I hunt with 7mm Mag, and just bought new brass for my second rifle (Browning X-Bolt). The new brass is Norma, whereas I normally shoot Nosler in my other rifle. I figured the different headstamps would help me keep the brass with the correct rifle. Doing so though means Im working with 85.5gr h2o capacity in the new brass vs. 86.9gr h2o in the Nosler brass.
I was wondering if someone might be able to help me zero in on the load I should be looking to use in this brass. The load in the Nosler brass was:
.284 162gr ELD-X (1.4865")
70.9gr Retumbo
Wolf LRM Primer
3.290" OAL
Nosler Brass (86.9gr H2O Capacity)
With the newer brass being 1.4gr less H2O capacity, Im wondering where I should start. Im really trying hard to save money on the powder and primers at this point. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.
