Has anyone had Rich Hackett from R and B rifles build you a rifle, or know of anyone who has? I cant find any reviews anywhere and before I drop a few grand on a rifle I want to hear praises/complaints. Or if you could tell me anywhere else to go that is legit for a M40A3? Thanks

I would ask him for examples of his work or previous customers. For an investment like that, asking for references is not out of line.

Not wanting to hijack your post, but after looking at the R & B web site, I had a question. Some pictures show what I guess is testing the rifles. They are straped in a lead sled. Is this what everyone does?
This is notnhing about R & B, just I had never known how any builder tested their rifles.

Rich Hackett built me a rifle. And I love it! 300wm. hs precision stock, timney trigger, kreiger "free float", true action. The normal things you do to a rifle. Cant say enough, I wouldnt hesitate to purchase another rifle off of them. send me and email, and i'll send you pics of mine and my range results if you would like. [email protected]
