Great looking rifle, I like the camo job. I hope you have one laying around for me to look at the next time I'm down there.

Re: R Bros Rogue Enforcer

Nice package.

Why a 23" tube for LE work?

If you were going to put together a suppressor capable LE package I would have suggested a 16" barrel. 20" at the absolute longest. 23" with a suppressor mounted may not fit in the trunk of a Crown Vic. I know my 26" 700 was a tight fit.

Re: R Bros Rogue Enforcer

Lonewolf,

They were actually the ones that specified the length. I asked several departments and private security firms and they all came back with 22-23". I had originally planned on making it 20". They all told me that would be the optimal length. The rifle actually balances out well at this length. I had the same thoughts as you about fitting it in the trunk of a car, but they didn't see it as a big concern. The private security guys asked for it in that length for ease of getting out of their suburbans. I am not and have never been in LE, so I was just going off what they had requested.

The customer is always right.

However I have to wonder if it's the old "myth" of longer is more accurate at work again.

If I didn't shoot long range competitions, my .308 AE barrel would be 16" for work.

As soon as the rifle is ready. But it looks like the first part of december would work good as long as your back from hunting. I have another project for you aswell.

Re: R Bros Rogue Enforcer

Reviving this a little. Between customer builds, hunting season and the holidays, I finally had some time to break this thing in today. This is 15 shots...clean one shoot one for the first five, 2 shots clean, 3 shots clean, and five shots. Shows promise.
