R+D Bolt Knob

I had Randy install his Gen-2 bolt knobs on my Rem 700 and 40-XB trainer rifles. Wow, what a difference!

I think this photo shows how much easier this mod makes it to cycle the bolt -- imagine the delicacy required to articulate the bolt past that scope objective with just the little Remington knob:

He installed one on my Rem 700 also, I love mine!

I would probably bang my knuckles repeatedly on the scope with that setup but it looks nice.

HB -- You're missing my point entirely!! The R+D Precision knob is MUCH larger and longer than the original Remington knob. This modification isn't about appearance at all, it's about usability!

Then again, maybe you have giant hands, and would need an even bigger bold knob?

I wish I'd taken a "before" photo so you could see what a difference it makes.
