Considering putting a lighter spring in my firing pin assembly to get a lighter bolt lift. Ive heard a few people have issues with light primer strikes. Is there a spring that still functions flawlessly but still is lighter bolt lift than factory?
Check your lugs, cocking piece ramp for gauling. A little lube doesn’t hurt. If you have an aftermarket trigger, cocking piece or trigger sear could be rubbing
Ive got a Tubb duo spring and lightweight firing pin on my short action 700. It feels like it lightened the bolt lift some. No light primer strikes either.
