Radical firearms

It is not a brand that I have used. There are some low cost guns that I have with reasonably good results, like Armalite, Stag and ADM. Not sure if they do a Grendel.

If I were you, I would JUMP over to LaRue, and buy the Stealth kit. I got a 6.5 Grendel for $800. Everything except a lower. Lower parts are included. Buy a nice billet lower of your liking for $200, and you have an amazing rifle for $1k.

I bought one of the RF 6.5 grendel uppers from joeboboutfitters a while back for a good price. I've read mixed reviews on the company and their customer service, but I myself have had zero issues so far. I actually just recently shot my best 5 rd group to date with that RF upper on a BPM lower. 5 shots at 103 yds into a sub 1/4 moa group, with Wolf Gold 120gr MPT factory ammo. Now, that definitely is not the norm. I have shot many 3 shot half-Moa groups, and lots of 5 shot sub-Moa groups, but that was by far the best for me. So, I wouldn't call it a 1/4 or 1/2 Moa rifle by any means, but I do consistently get sub-Moa groups with my set up and shooting factory ammo. Here's the group and my rifle set up... So to sum up, I am very happy with my purchase, but I know other folks don't feel the same way. In the end, I would buy again from RF.

Hey longshot....I just got my LaRue Builders kit today, just FYI be careful on what lower you decide to use for your kit you'll notice on the left hand side of the upper receiver at the rear it's very, very thin, so thin you can actually see the buffer through the gap...

Radical is a shit company. These guys sent my brother a basic 5.56 over a year ago. I end up disassembling the rifle to check it out (brother didn't know much about AR's at the time), and it was like a party favor. As soon as I separate the receivers, metal shavings go everywhere. The BCG was rubbing against one of the walls of the upper causing the shavings. Bro contacts Radical. Radical tells bro that is "normal" for the "break in process" of the rifle. When I tell them that is the most outlandish bullshiy I've ever heard, they made my bro pay shipping to return their shitbox to them.

It ends up taking them a few weeks to "fix it" and get it back to him. Guess what the rifle does still? You guessed it. They didn't fix shit. After a bunch of back and forth, they credited my bro his money back but ONLy after they made him pay to ship it back to them that second time.

Do yourselves a favor and stay the hell away from this shitty company. You don't want to drop a lot of dough but get an AR? Grab a Del Ton.

I'm glad that some have had good experiences but I'll heed the advice of the majority. I'll likely go the route of an Aero build if I ever build one. I say if because I just saw the price of the Savage MSR 10 hunter on experticity. Hard to build a decent grendel for that price AND it a Creedmoor. Just haven't heard much about the Savages.
