I want to mount a bipod but all I can find is the spigot mount, mile high shooting told me they aren't available.

Try anarchy outdoors, they are the one that makes the spigot. Big dog steel also makes one, as does atlas. There was a used big dog steel spigot rail in the px here. Here's the anarchy rail
