Rainier Arms .308 barrels

Looks like Rainier Arms released some match grade .308 barrels for Both Ar-10 and DPMS pattern uppers.

I was going to save up for a Noveske barrel but these definitely look interesting to say the least....
Shilen blanks, 1 in 10 twist, and a .750 diameter. ONLY 3 pounds for a 20 inch barrel!
Anyone want to be the test dummy?

I was reviewing a couple of threads on another forum re: the Rainier UltraMatch .308 barrels. They look promising and for the money, hopefully they'll be a good alternative to some of the other high-end barrels (as you said, they use Shilen barrel blanks...they are then worked over by CLE/WOA which are always good things from my personal experience). I have a post and an e-mail in to Rainier about availability of the 16" model for an Armalite pattern rifle (listed as "coming soon").
