I have two of Rainier's ultra match barrels on 5.56 builds but just came upon one of their "match" grade 18" 308 barrels for a new build and was wondering if anyone had any experience with these. I'm debating on keeping it or selling it and picking up an 18" AR10740 contour from Lilja. Looking to build a mid range tac driver, 100-700 yards for tac matches, fun and maybe some hunting. Any thoughts or opinions??
Rainier "Match" barrel - Anyone running one???

A lot of people have them and have gotten good results. I was unfortunately not one of those people. I had a headspace issue and in my ultramatch 20" .308 but Rainier made it right and gave me my money back well over a year after purchasing it, so kudos to them.
I don't have any experience with the barrel but do have some with Rainier as a company and they're great.
I have several Ultra Match Barrels and one Match. Hard to tell if UM are more accurate as every build is different but it is definitely more accurate than my Daniel Defense barrel. YMMV
