Today was the second day of the muster at the UDT/SEAL museum in Fort Pierce. It started at 07:00 with a 5K run on the beach at sunrise. Folks of all ages along with active duty Seals were there, over 200 in total.
On the stage are Ross Perot, Admiral William H. McRaven, Medal of Honor Recipient and Former SEAL Tom Norris, Medal of Honor Recipient and Former SEAL Michael Thornton, Tyrone Woods widow Dorothy Woods and some politicians.
Mrs. Woods spoke eloquently and drew both applause and tears. She received a standing ovation when she said that if her husband had survived and was asked what happened he would not have responded with "What difference does it make now, it's over."
No money from the government for assets for the
demonstration? No problem, we are Seals, we will improvise.
