I've known about this site for a while but only recently started digging around. I use to think I knew a little something until I started looking into all of the little things that goes with buying my first rifle. So far that's the only peice I have, and Ive learned there's alot of good stuff out there that doesent start with M and end with some numbers.

A lot of intelligent guys on this site and a wealth of knowledge. I guess Im saying thanks for letting me join up.

Welcome to hide and yes there is a ton of great info on this site. You will catch some flack as most fng's do by asking the basic questions about gear so I would suggest you get good at using the search function.

When you have some free time grab yourself a cold beer and a ham sandwich and try searching for Shankster's hotties.

I will help you if I can, and hope you can find your place among us. While there may have been better times to be joining, I also think that your joining us here could be instrumental to your marksmanship success. The one could balance the other.

Adding to one's stable of implements is going to be especially difficult for the near future, so concentrate on gaining proficiency with what you already have.

If you don't have a simple, reliable .22LR rifle at this point, that would be the thing I would advise most strongly toward acquiring. I don't think there's a more effective or affordable means to improve one's marksmanship skills than one of them.

Start simple, stay focused, and keep returning to the basics.
