Wanderlust was in town after an Army school, turns out his parents live two blocks from where I grew up and only about 1 mile up the road..

So we got out to the range before he flew back.

Weather: 40 degrees with BONE CHILLING COLD rain coming down.

We froze our asses off, him being from Hawaii now and me being from indoors LOL.

But had a great time - he's one hell of a nice guy, be honored to shoot with him any time!!! He's a great shot as well -

I did OK considering hadn't shot the bolt gun in almost 2 years, although I stay up on pistol and AR's. My CBS was 2" high and my scope had been moved up to the 150 mark so when i cranked her down I was spot ON. I had also taken the scope off a few months ago for a cleaning.

Jeremy was shooting a very near-serial numbered rifle as mine, E series, and was doing a box test with his scope to make sure it r eturned to zero - and until we got numb fingers he was hitting spot on!

Darned good day shooting!!

My neighbor is NOT going to be happy about pic #1 - those are his election campaign signs in the backstop!!!!!!!!!!

Far too kind Arctic. You certainly have a sweet scope. But it was frigid to say the least, cold weather training I guess.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it out and shoot some more with you!
