Truth be told, I went shooting yesterday to test the accuracy potential with my new stick as well as enter into elfster's 100 yard challenge. Unbeknownst to me, he closed the thread. I realized I screwed up anyway and only shot 25 rounds instead of 30!

Specs of the rifle are:
Trued Rem 700 action
Krieger 1:8 twist #18 barrel threaded 5/8-24 finished at 23 inches
TPS 20 moa steel base 8-40 screws bedded to action
PT&G bottom metal, AICS mags
Pre 2006 Rem trigger set at 2.5 pounds
Coyote tan cerakote on metal parts
Manners MCS T5 stock, pillar bedded with Devcon
SS10x42MQ mounted in Burris XTR rings (temporary until I pick up a March-F)
Harris 6-9 notched legs

Load data:
Berger 140 VLD hunting
46.4 gr RL-22
CCI 200
Rem .260 brass
.010 from lands (AICS mag length)
MV 2727 fps

I had just mounted the SS so I had to zero it. It took two rounds to get it in a 1 moa circle, then I fine tuned it from there. Groups 2 and 3 I was all dicked up, but that's all part of the test, right? My average was .3854 MOA, with my best group being .294 MOA. All groups were 5 rounds, verified 100 yards, fired from a front bag and rear sock on a bench (as pictured). I know my load is not ideal, I used the temp sensitive RL-22 and I'm trying to shoot up what I have left. I've started developing a load using H4831SC and it looks very promising. The flyer in group 3 was called, but I know it doesn't matter much.

I will be doing a workout on the SS10x42MQ today, testing the reticle subtensions and tracking. A comprehensive review of the scope will follow in the optics section.
