As title states, looking to be able to hit ipsc size targets to 1500. Likely to 1200, but figure 1500 gives me some room.

    Currently I’m looking at:

    Terrapin X
    Sig 2400 bdx
    Leica crf 2800

Running a 5700 elite w/link. So integration is good, but not a huge deal. And don’t need another system running AB unless it just happens to be a feature.

Looking for performance/accuracy over features. I’d rather it be reliable on range and input it manually in kestrel than less reliable and it sends the range via BT.

Anyone with experience with multiple rangers doing this?

    Also open to other suggestions.

    Thanks

Did you end up pulling the trigger on an lrf?

I haven’t ordered it yet, but have made up my mind on the terrapin x.

Need to sell the zcomp that I have coming first though. Scrapped my gas gun build and it’s shipped this week ?

What was the main deciding factor between the 2800.com vs the terrapin x that made you lean towards the X? I'm thinking I'm going to pull the trigger on a 2800.com today.

The size looked easier for me to get steady when not on a tripod. And the connectivity looked a bit more useful. Even though the connection stuff wasn’t a high priority.

Also, minor detail, dealers can work with price a little on terrapin and not at all on leica. So, within $500 of one another.

It damn near came down to a coin flip. The leica and terrapin were the top 2 with sig not far behind as far as choosing.

I don’t think you can go wrong here though.

For what it's worth I have the Kilo 2400BDX and I've ranged as far as 1980 yards with it (although not on an IPSC sized plate). I was using it at a team field match this weekend and was getting fast returns on an IPSC at 1300+ yards in the rain/drizzle though. The integration with my 5700 elite works well also. So far I'm impressed with the unit.
