Ranges near Oxford, Ohio Indiana/Kentucky

Does anyone know of any ranges near Oxford/Hamilton , Ohio? Preferably 1-2hours away or closer. I shoot at Rayners but and looking for something a little closer now.

Miami Rifle & Pistol Club is the only range in the western side of the state that goes past 300 yards. It's a KD type range (no steel AT ALL) and it's members only unless there's an organized event, which are all open to the public.

Membership is a long ass wait list.

All their rifle shooting is NRA across the course or mid range prone. Mid range prone matches have both F class and sling. Third Sunday of the month there's an informal 20 round 600 yard prone "match" open to the public. You will need to work the pits during one of your relays, if you've never done that before just say so.

I used to be a member but dropped it when realized it's not practical to shoot there by yourself, and I live 1 hr away.

Awesome, thank you for the information! It looks like I might be able to participate in one of their varmit matches as well as benchrest.

Ya, I forgot about benchrest. Probably because I've never had any interest in it.

Forgot to add: there's a qualification process to use the 500 and 600 yard lines.

Walter Kline range in Friendship Indiana nmlra.org I have shot black powder cartridge there. You have to be a member of the nmrla and I am not sure if the allow anything resembling a modern firearm.

So far the closest I’ve found is Lake Bailey in Hamilton, Ohio. It’s a little sketchy, Ive not actually shot there just looked at it. I believe it has steel out to 300.

It's not far from Middletown Sportsmans Club, I haven't been there in a while but it used to have out to 200yds.
