the amount of posts you post tags on a "rank". i forget what exactly the structure is to make it to the next "rank". it's cutsie kinda thing.

look at that right in the FAQs:
Everyone has a title within the forum. You will notice the title below the Display Name in each post. Some titles are automatically assigned based on the number of posts a user has made, and some titles are assigned by the forum owner to denote official representatives of the company or other VIPs in the forums.
0 Private First Class
31 Lance Corporal
51 Sergeant
501 Staff Sergeant
1000 Gunnery Sergeant
1750 Master Sergeant
2500 Chief Warrant Officer
5000 General Nuisance
I'd peek at those FAQs upper right of the topic listings, and learn to use the search function (the better google one in my signature works well).
this is a great site for info, but they will tear newbies up if the effort wasn't put forward to utilize FAQs and a search first. there's always one or two that'll bust your balls for not filling in your profile too. i have no clue why, it's not like we're filling out an application for employment. i could put down fairy godmother in my profile, does that mean that i am?
