This is the extremely rare Norwegian Colt 1911 in .45 ACP. It is called the Kongsberg Vapenfabrikk Model 1914 which is the year it was adopted by Norway as their primary military sidearm. It is was designated Colt Automatisk Pistol Model 1912 until serial number 96 when it was changed to 11.25 m/m Automatisk Pistol Model 1914. The factory was taken over and operated by the Germans during the war. The Norwegian army used this as their primary sidearm until 1985 when they were replaced by Glocks.
