Trying to find the sweet spot for my .308 WIN that'll allow quick target acquisition up close and still have sufficient magnification and clarity at 800 yards at dusk. I'm a MOAR guy so I ruled the Eotech Vudu out. The AR weighs 5.15lbs and would largely serve a back-up weapon while traditional bow hunting in grizz territory (in addition to a Glock 40 in 10mm) as well as a primary rifle during the Demzombie Apocalypse.

Works great. No clue what your question was

Seeking a lightweight scope that will allow quick target acquisition up close and still have sufficient magnification and clarity at 800 yards at dusk. Been reviewing a lot of LPVOs and this one seems to be climbing the charts. How is it in low light conditions?

Koshkin likes it the best overall it he could only have one optic, at least according to a video he put up a few weeks ago. I thinks he ranks the S&B dual c c the best, but you can buy two Razor G3s for the price of one S&B.

Well for me there is no low light Hahahaha but to answer your question it is fantastic. As it gets darker I simply dial the mag back and go to the illum reticle.

Geeez. Too much in one thread.

He is a a smart guy. I might put the ATACR 1-8x in the mix there somewhere, but if I had to pick only two and remove of of his, I am not sure which, as all three present great arguements, for "If I had to have only one scope."
