Just wanted some opinions here.
I love running ADM mounts on rifles. I just built an AR10 mainly for hunting to <200yds and some plinking to 500-750yds. I just ordered a Razor 4.5-27x56 for the setup. Should I run the AD Recon 34mm that should clear the pic rail or are there better options out there?

Thanks

Ive dumped vertically split rings too but i still love my QD mounts. ADM sells some horizontal split rings mounts but im not sure what models they are limited to. I have my Razor on my AR-10 mounted in a M.I. QD mount and i must say i like it as well as ADM. M.I. makes good stuff....

I'd like to stick around QD as I may occasionally switch to a thermal sight.

Does the switch need to be at NASCAR pit crew speeds? If not then taking off a scope is pretty simple without QD. Also you can torque it down so you know it's holding right everytime. But your money and if you had to the one above looks pretty good without vertical split rings.

How quickly do you want to switch to NV? In seconds? from one trip to the next? I have had QD mounts, guess how much I needed them...never! I would go with a solid screw on mount, and one that is MUCHHHHH easier to mount a scope properly, Geissele, Spuhr, MPA, Zero Delta, etc. I run Spuhr and Geissele and while they cost a lot they are very well machine and next to no POI when uninstalling and reinstalling.
