Just wanted to throw a heads up out there for you guys, If you want a chargemaster then now might be the time to get it. Midway has them for $358 but use coupon code ar1535 to get $35 off and right now there is a $50 mail in rebate also so you can snag one for $273 plus shipping. I just ordered mine and thought I would share since its a pretty dang good deal.

Natchez has them for about $290. Find some rcbs product for $10 to get you above $300 and you can use the $50 mail in rebate.

I bought one, found it easy to use and accurate. However it was slow as hell. I soon sold it and bought a PACT. The PACT came in last week, looks excellent. The dispening time is about 1/3 of the RCBS.

I believe the RCBS needs 30-40 seconds for each 308 size fill. I just do not have that amount of time. Otherwise I was going to use a Harrell's.

The RCBS is really easy to reprogram. Mine now throws a 44 grain varget in about 16 seconds. If you do a search here you will find the tutorials. I concur they are slow until you play with them a little bit. Another cool trick is to tuck a 1/2 " piece of Mc Donalds soda straw in the trickle tube to stop any clumping / over charges.


The Pact I had was a total pos. It broke and then I sent it to Pact for repair, it came back in worse shape. I ended up throwing it in the garbage.

I just got my Chargemaster two days ago. I didn't even try it without the straw, but haven't tuned it up by reprogramming...

I gotta say, I REALLY had doubts about this thing. I have a gem scale, capacity of 250grains, that reads out to .02gr, and has really treated me well. I have a penny clipped down to weigh exactly 44.94gr on my gem scale. After calibration, my RCBS unit can't make up its mind if that penny is 44.9, or 45.0gr....perfect!

It isn't amazingly fast, yet, but much faster than hand weighing. I really like it!

A friend of mine recommended this unit so when I saw the Natchez deal, I couldn't pass it up!

Now I'm trying to decide wheter the RCBS Power Pro Trimmer is worth the $$.....

I called Natchez in early January and the guy on the phone said the rebate was over, so I put off buying the Chargemaster.
They had that new form up last week, so I just lucked out by waiting.

Hi guys.. can somebody help me? I am actually living in Ukraine, and looking for RCBS 1500 Combo for some time. On Sinclair european version (220 V) costs 370 USD. Just saw this thread so was wondering, could somebody help me get these 220 V scales under 300 $ ? I can pay by credit card or paypal and shipment will be to my US address and then I resent it to my actual address. Any help possible? I have no clue how to get all these RCBS rebates etc....
