I normally throw IMR4064 for .308 Win.

Just bought a new rifle in .338 Lapua Magnum and seem like RE33 will suitable for my 300 gr. projectile.

So, do I need to use any liquid (Algohol) to clean my Charger Master before switch between different powder or just shake out would be enough?

I just shake mine out thoroughly and then use a small thin brush to brush out any residue. Seems to work fine switching between powders.

I'm anal about safety though and am scared shitless to accidently mix powders in the chargemaster. So my technique is to only ever use one type of powder during a reloading session if I can help it. I leave that one can of powder out on the table and then pour back the unused into the can and then put it away OFF of the bench before I pick up the next can. That way there is less of a chance of a F*ckup. I guarantee you will stop and have doubts if there are multiple cans of powder sitting on your loading bench. Then you will wonder which powder is in the charger and which can it goes back into. YMMV.

My approach is to use a roll of that blue painters tape. I write the name of the powder on a piece and stick in on the powder reservoir on the CM. When I change powder, I just stick the tape on the wall for the next time. Do the same on my Dillons.

I just put the powder container next to the scale so I know whats in there. The brush that comes with the chargemaster works fine for cleaning it out. I did the McDonald's straw mod and most of the powder except for maybe a kernel on extruded powder comes out when I spin it one more time after its empty. When I switch to the next powder I just chunk the first charge to make sure its not contaminated.
