I have been a relatively happy owner of a Chargemaster and tonight, I need to load 100 rounds for a match in the AM. I fill my hpooer with my powder, turn the Chargemaster on, watch the count down, and get a "W" on the left end of the readout, and a "7" on the right end with an arrow pointing to "Link". I turn the unit off, remove the scale from the powder thrower, give it a puff or two, reattach them, turn it back on, watch the count down, and the same. Anyone have any ideas? thanks, J

From a little brief research, it appears the "W7" code means the computer has gone bad. It will have to be sent back to RCBS. Even if it is out of warranty, they will replace it for $45 fee. Here is the address.

Trevor, Dude, your all over it! Thank you my friend. I even have the box it came in. Thank you to Vipers, he loaned me his Chargemaster to get my loading done for my match in the AM. His automatically dispenses when you replace the pan, and the scale settles. Nice little feature. J
