Rcbs decap die

So I just bought the rcbs 27-45cal decap die.
I am using this for 6.5cm brass right now.

My question is, is it normal for the spent primers to go flying all over the place when depriming? I was previously using the hornady custom die that had the decap pin/expander button installed.

I just got the Sinclair expander mandrel to set neck tension and that is why I took the expander button./decap pin out of my resizing die. I'm wondering if I have something set wrong or if I possibly got the wrong size decap die from rcbs? The other size was. 22cal to. 25cal

Mine does it too, unless I use it in my Forster press. In the Rockchucker the primers zing halfway to Japan, each one taking a different route.
