RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme single stage press

Re: RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme single stage press

Yes. What are you looking to know? It's a great press. Solid as a tank. Upgrade it with the Hornady bushing conversion kit and it's an incredible press with quick changeover. What more could you ask for in a single stage?

Re: RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme single stage press

Thanks. I've never used one and have never reloaded for rifles. Pistols only with an old Lee press. Want to start loading for my rifles in .308, 7mmRM, 30-06 and 300WM and was in need of a press and a buddy of mine just happened to be moving overseas for his job and can't take it with him. Funny this is I just ordered a Redding Big Boss II from Sinclairs last week.

Also, Glock24 has given me alot of great information on getting set up for precision reloading vs mass produce for plinking like I had been doing. One thing we discussed was using Innovative Technologies collet die for the belted cartridges. Opinions on using one even if the shells will load without that resizing?

I use the Rockchucker. It's a very good press. With Redding S bushing dies and a Redding micrometer seater, you will be making almost perfect ammo. My runout using this setup is less than .0005. That's less than one half of a thousandth.

Thanks Leaddog. I'm ordering Dies etc. tonight or tomorrow so any help is greatly appreciated. As I mentioned before I've never reloaded for rifles and never for precision. Didn't care about accuracy plinking around and factory have been fine for hunting over the years. If you have any other suggestions I'm all ears. I know I'm bugging the hell out of Glock24 right now with all my questions.
