There's a little extra space on one side of my trigger guard, probably from over sanding to make a new trigger guard fit correctly, I was thinking about using something like " JB Weld kwik" to rebuild the area then re sanding to fit. This is a factory synthetic stock. I would think this is the simplest solution, any suggestions?

What you use depends on how hard you want to sand it smooth. Jbweld metal, jbweld plastic epoxy. All sorts of flavors. I say yes use something that has a high tensile strength. Dont forget to roughen up the surface for proper adhesion.
How I'm thinking about doing it is applying the compound and sitting the trigger guard back in to bed it (applying a release agent to guard prior, shoe polish?) Then removing and sanding to perfection. Should I tighten the action back in?
That could work. Just make sure to fill any holes the epoxy may seep in and lots of release agent. I was thinking just lay it on that side and spread some with a popsicle stick.

Also if it isnt effecting the the stock negatively (structurally) and is just visual. You could just leave it. Just depends on your OCD.

Yea lol it's my ocd more than anything else, it's not jeopardizing the stocks integrity in any way.
@Clayed21085 Would you mind taking some pictures and posting when your done? I have the same issue with a A3 McMillan stock.
