First off, everyone will want to know the type of rifle & it's intended purpose.
Rifle:
Armalite AR10A4 flat top, 20" heavy barrel. 2-stage trigger, H&K style PSG-1 palm rest, Bennie Cooley, tactical rifle compensator, bipod.

Purpose of the rifle: For shooting .308 at ranges from not under 100 to 300 yards. Target shooting at paper from bench or a bipod. My range goes to 600yds, but I have no motivation to reach that far. When I bought it in '99, it was fitted out to closely match the Knight's Armament SR-25 that was to later become the Mk 11 Mod 0 system.

What ammunition? I use 175 smk @ 2.80 OAL with 43.x of RL-15 to very closely duplicate the current loading for the M118LR Special Ball Long Range (LR).

After much research, I settled on a 10x fixed scope, and narrowing down the choices, I've decided on the redoubtable U.S. Optics ST-10.
I would have liked the ERGO upgrade, 44mm low profile objective, but I guess I'm late to the party?

So check out this build, and see if I've missed anything. The only thing I can think of is illumination, and since I don't hunt in low light, I couldn't think of a reason to spend the extra money. But that's why you're here, to make suggestions! :)

Illuminated Reticle:
I shoot at an excellent range, but they have a hard rule. There are dusk-to-dawn lights at every range, and when they go on, all shooting stops. As you know, those lights power on before it's too hard to see.
I don't hunt. So, the only contingency I can think of that might call for illumination is a SHTF scenario. So, just to cover all bases, I'm sending an email now to a former SWAT major, and to a respected shooter of 20th century military arms to see what they both say.

Looks good to me. They said they discontinued the 44mm because there was no real gain over the 37mm. They were putting a diffuser in the 44mm because it let in too much light.
Only thing that the illumination will help you with is resale value, otherwise, go for it as-is.

Thanks for the info DD.

The former SWAT major, and my acquaintance, a respected shooter of 20th century military arms, both said to forgoe the illumination.
I've ordered the ST-10 as configured above.

Thanks to all. :)
