Was looking at the Drake Associates / Cadex Strike Dual 22M24 chassis and was trying to see what the real benefit on an 'upgrade' would be. Right now, I have a correct long action M24A2 with the AICS compatible bottom metal, HS Precision PST026 stock, MARS rail and Badger rings.

All together these components that would be switched out for the chassis weigh 7lbs 6 ounces. The chassis is listed at 3300 grams which is 7.27 pounds, so any weight savings is negligible.

Both take AICS mags. Both have fully adjustable LOP and cheek riser. Both have capabilities of mounting a clip on night site as well as side mounting AN/PEQ units.

The only real difference besides the fact the Cadex looks awesome, is the vertical adjustment of the butt pad, rail on stock for a monopod and the folding option which is nice. However, from where I am sitting with my current setup, is there anything I am missing as far as I could be missing out on? Or is this a nice upgrade for those that do not currently have all of the features that my rig currently does?

I have the Strike 33 on my 300 build, The original Rifle came with the HS adjustable, vertical grip (M24A2) stock.
The chassis feels much more solid. The adjustments are easier and hold their position. The adjustable cheek piece on the H-S seemed very loose. The rifle in the chassis just feels good to me, I get behind it and it feels secure. My only real complaint would be that the handguard is far larger than it needs to be. If they slimmed it down closer to the GEN 1 (RACS) I think it would be nearly perfect
The folding stock makes transporting these monsters easy.
The big question for most is if it is worth the price. I don't have any regrets buying mine, but there are other chassis that have the same options and adjustability for a fraction of the cost.
    Hope this helps
