Really cool piece of history for sale here!

As a former MS shooter I really like this Wichita 243 rifle:

I am not sure if John sold it yet or not, but…

I met Malcolm Cooper at a shooting range in Norway in the beginning of the 80'ies.
He was supposed to do some shooting with a guy who didn't show up and the 300m range was closed. I invited him into the 100m moving target range and he showed me his then latest 300m switch barrel rifle chambered in 7-08 and 308.
The other guy showed up and they started shooting at the 300m range. After I finished shooting moving target I got to try Cooper's 7-08 matchrifle at 300m. Great fun!

A side note: In the same time period I was queing for a sandwich in the cafeteria at the same range. In front of me in the queue was this rather short man with a sixpence cap. I started chatting with him in english. After app 30 sec I recognized him as Formula 1 World Champ Jackie Stewart. He was shooting a clay target competition at the range. He was a nice guy.
