I'm ready to roll my own subs but I'd like some reassurance that titegroup with 168 or 175 smks will work in my OBR (1:10). I heard mixed reviews with titegroup and plenty of good reviews with trailboss.

Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Don't have any experience with subsonics, but just wanted to caution you that Titegroup is very fast and high pressure pistol powder. Be safe.

They have a load listed on hodgdons website.... 8 gr used with a 168 smk should put me right at 1080 fps. My only concern is the case space not being utilized and achieving proper ignition....

Trailboss is the powder to use for subsonic 308 rounds, I use.
    10 grains of Trailboss
    180 round nose pills
    Whatever 308 case
    215 mag primer

Start high and work your way down while shooting thru a chronograph, do not shoot any pills thru a suppressor until you know your load is subsonic and no key holes in the target.

Impulse buy as my sporting goods shop was all out of TrailBoss.

Thanks for the load data... I've shot my fair share of subs but I'm ready to roll my own now.

I take it mag primers are used to ensure proper ignition? Will large primers not work as well 427cobra? Or is it more of a piece of mind upgrade to the load?

Titegroup is "specially designed" to not care about its position in the case.

My chrono cant tell the difference if powder is in the front or back of the cases in my Smith 500, which could hold 50gr, but only takes 17gr.

I never tried Plano large rifle primers, 215 were recommended to me and work well so I never tried anything else, and i still have 1500 left, I bet that 210 or any other large rifle primer will work just fine.
