I think we can slice and shade our way to all sorts of conclusions, but the elephant still stands proud in the center of the room.
The simplest question is about whether the rule of law still exists, and whether its existence brings any greater benefit, on the balance, to we the people.
My answer to the first is that in the light of miscreance being its own reward, it exists less and less, and IMHO, has already reached the tip-over point toward nonexistence and never coming back at the hands of the government we support with our votes and tax dollars.
I had hopes for Trump, but in this instance, Jerry has nailed it.
My answer to the second is, are we kidding ourselves? Of course not anymore.

PS, If you think this election isn't being played, look up the terms 'majority forward' and 'senate majority'. If you have the vision for it, you can read it in that 'bottom line fine print' at the end screen of the mudslinging anti Republican campaign ads.
Bloomberg, Soros, etc., wringing their hands and lol'ing. This is why I post the above, because these folks are shitting in our Wheaties and skating free. It is the current state of the rule of law that permits this to stand. There is a difference between "Amending" the constitution and deciding how you are going to interpret it.
Read the Second Amendment, and it's really clear... that every thing and every last of these "Gun Control" "laws" and "taxes are directly in violation of it..... But all the politicians and the courts are all in on the scam claiming that "shall not be infringed" doesn't exactly mean that and well... infringe away and we'll cover your back.
VS. Trump is actually just saying he will demand that we go back to the original court interpretation of the citizenship clause and not the more liberal mucked up one that the Communists push now to help their invasions plans.
Tell them tough luck... now if you roll back all the gun control laws since the NFA and every state law, well then we'll talk about what you care about...

The problem and the answer are simple to see when looked at simply. We must get back to the constitution. We left it behind while we were fighting overseas. We let it happen in 1913 when we let banks gain control of our money.. in 1964 when they took away silver and gave us pieces of metal.. in 1836 when we declared war on Indians.. when Hillary signed us on a u.n. Small arms treaty and wasn’t executed for treason.. if the gov can’t get us back to the constitution then we the people must. I took an oath to defend the constitution.. many on here have taken the same oath??
