Rifle Scopes Recoil lug on scope base...yes or no?

I've almost finished with my 7mm-08 build, and have all the components in place. I'm using a trued/blueprinted 700 action with a 22" Bartlein barrel, bolted in an AICS 2.0 stock. My scope is a US Optics SN3 3.2-17x44 with 34mm tube, mounted in TPS medium rings. I have two bases at my disposal that I can use, a PRI steel 20 MOA base and a Weaver Tactical 20 MOA, which is aluminum. Here's my question. I'd like to go with the PRI, as it is a steel base, except it doesn't have a recoil shoulder at the front of the base. The Weaver, on the other hand, does.

Considering the weight of the scope and rings, would I be better of using the Weaver base with the recoil shoulder, or would I be fine with the steel PRI? Thanks!

We've shot things way bigger calibers than that 7-08 in our short guns and if properly mounted and bedded we've never had a mount problem. If anything we've used 4 rings on the big kickers to keep the scope from moving. I went with a steel base on our new rifle just to add a bit more weight but haven't had any problems with an aluminum either.

I've decided to go with the Weaver for now. Both bases had a gap in the rear, so either would have to be bedded before it could be used. I've never bedded one, so I figured it would be safer to bed the cheaper of the bases, just in case I screw things up. Its bedded now, so I'll mount the scope up and see how it goes from there.

I will admit, I do feel better with the lug. The US Optics and rings are freakin' heavy, so having the recoil shoulder gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling!
