I'm seriously looking into purchasing 30 cal TB can my question how much does the size of the can matter for recoil reduction? Am I better off with 9" than 7" ? My end goal is too run it on a win mag when it's not on my 6.5s. This will be my first can and only wanting to buy once.

If you want to run it on a 300WM you'd best best to go with the full size ultra. Both would work but the full size will bring the noise down lower. If you want to do even better than that go with the 338 ultra.
^^^ really cant say it any better than this. I have even seen TBAC certificates in the accessories PX for $950. So you could buy the 338 Ultra for essentially $950.
