Recommendations on a quality 1-6 or 1-10 scope for a BCM RECCE buildout.

The razor 1-10 is the all around king at the moment as far as most are concerned. They can be had for $1800 new last I looked.

Atacr 1-8 if you like NF
Nx8 1-8 if you prioritize size/weight
The 1-6 razor is still a good choice.

There are many on the market now

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I'll take a look

Some might consider them "dated" but I still hold the swfa 1-6hd in high esteem. They track and hold zero perfectly, have a good reticle for speed as well as long range precision, and are probably the most durable option short of an atacr.

If you want to go 1-10, the Razor Gen III is certainly the best choice. Personally, I thin a 10x would be more at home on a large frame AR10. Also, if you're not in rush, you might want to wait until the new EOTech 1-10 starts shipping. I am picking one up as soon as I can for my AR10 build.

I think at this point in time, most should aim to have a 1-8 on pretty much any 556 or similar rifle. Why? Because you can... I really like the NX8 1-8 and ATACR but if you feel froggy, the K18I with 3GR and Trijicon Credo (though heavy) are excellent choices also.

If you want to stick to a 1-6, there are a ton of options here and the above mentioned SAI is a great choice mainly because of the reticle (glass is very good to). I know, know, what about the Razor Gen II? It's an absolute workhouse, but it has not been updated since it's release. And IMHO, it is falling behind quickly with it's outdated reticles. In this range also consider the K16i, the glass is excellent!!

I have a SWFA 1-6 on a lightweight AR10 I built and I completely agree with the opinion above; it’s a great 1-6 scope. That SAI 1-6 F1 looks very interesting as well in that magnification range.

Delta Stryker 1-6x24 if you need to be under 1k money wise but up there with the Razor 1-6 in features, not quite there in fov and eyebox but pretty close and a bit lighter to boot. Good luck

You might also consider the March 1-10X24 with dual reticle. It has an FFP and an SFP reticle. The FFP reticle is available with a tree, the TR-1 and the SFP has the illuminated dot so it stays as the same size throughout the zoom range. It's very short at 8 inches and weighs a little over a pound and it has a side focus.

They now offer it in a package with the custom unimount.

This is about as good as it gets in LPVO.
