Not that i know of, rifle is 26" braked barrel in an McMillan A3. You meaning from the airline? This is the first time I've flown with a rifle.
While I love my pelicans; my father in-law has an ICC aluminum case that is at least 20years old and if I were to fly with my rifle I would buy one in a heartbeat. The single lock on the ss locking rod is too convenient while adding confidence the case can't open. Also it's smaller than the equivalent pelican.

Yeah, I meant your rifle length. I didn’t want to assume what you were traveling with but some rifles won’t fit in your standard 42’s, 46’s and some of the 50’s. My 300WM needs about 52 unless I take it out of the stock.
I have been using an SKB double rifle case for over 10yrs. Its flown over 50 times with both sporting and comp rifles with no issues.

I'm right at 48" with my rifle. Looking hard at a Storm 3300, just not sure if i can fit the rest of my gear in there also. I would like to dump tripod, binos, clothes, maybe the tent in there as well, and just take my pack as carry-on..
TuffPak! Been to Africa five times, once with an inexpensive SKB case (never again), once with a Pelican (OK but awkward), and the last three times with a TuffPak. TuffPak takes long rifles, will hold two rifles, tough as nails - even through the Johannesburg baggage handlers, and uber secure. Plus you can keep the weight under 50 pounds, and it is easy to maneuver along with a wheeled duffel bag.

SKB and Pelican for me. Both have been great on multiple flights. My SKB I bought used as an electronic carrier on eBay ($80) but it is the same as the rifle model. I bought foam for it and its good to go.
When I fly I’ve got my rifle and half my match ammo in my pelican. After that I’m close to the 50lb weight limit so I just throw everything else, tripod, spotter, other half of ammo, etc in with my clothes. So I check 2 bags essentially. 1 is my pelican im3200 and the other is a duffle. Then I carry on my backpack. If you can fly southwest you get your first 2 bags free. But going overweight on a bag is damn expensive, so be mindful of that as well when trying to stuff your pelican.
If you aren't an elitist, check out the Apache 9800. Interior length is 50.375". I have a couple friends that fly with them regularly and love them. Only real downfall is that it weight about 23 pounds, so with a rifle there might not be much open weight left before you get charged for an overweight item.
Americase makes some ridiculously heavy duty and expensive custom gun cases, but they are not light. They are quite popular with trap shooters flying with $20k+ shotguns, but make rifle/archery cases as well.
If you want to carry it that much in a case, buy the SKB golf club hard case and pack the hell out of it.
Put the rifle in a quality soft case and insert it into the SKB. It's already padded so now you have a double layer of padding.
