Recommendations on Remington 700 based actions?

I've recently taken up long distance as a hobby and I've decided to look at building my own thing. Because of this I'm dissassembling and selling off the parts of my old "that'll do" multi purpose rifle that I bought finished product and building my own the way I want it to be.

My old rifle has an original Remington 700 action with an 0.532 bolt face and chambered in 300rum, with a far too expensive chassis on it.
I might keep that bolt and simply get it rebarrelled in 300winmag. Replacing the scope, scope mount, and chassis.

But I have been considering moving to a short action in 308 (for ammo price as well as practical reasons).
In that respect I've had a look at what's available, and so I'm looking for recommendations.
It seems what's most easily available in a remington 700 pattern are Defiance, Faxon, American arms origin, and Zermatt arms origin.

So, simple question I guess.
Are any of these any good?

Aero SOLUS is a good option as well (I have Zermatt actions too, just offering another option). I got my first one just to try because of the price. Put a 6CM Proof on it and it shot great. Later I stumbled on one here when I decided I wanted to build a dasher/br/gt. It was the later version with the fluted bolt. It popped up for a great price so I bought it and called Ray at Zermatt and switched my order from another origin to a rim x.

The reason I bring it up, I put another proof barrel in 6 dasher on the second origin action. It shot lights out, never had an issue with it. One in a KRG bravo with all the weights you can get, the other in a MDT ACC premier. Identical LOP. Well I swapped glass on both the 6mm last week. Both scopes in Warne Skyline Pro mounts. The POI movement from on rifle to another was .1mil low going to the dasher, .1 high going to the CM. That literally could be the difference in the velocities I load them at as I run my dasher pretty slow. Zero windage shift.

In my opinion, you can’t beat tolerances like that. If you can find one of them sitting on GB or red hawk or somewhere, that action is worth every penny.

Aero Solus with a good prefit in 6.5 Creedmoor or a good prefit in .308 Win would be an excellent and cost-effective trainer/range rifle. The Solus is 700 platform, has a machined-in recoil lug and 20MOA rail, replaceable bolt heads, is AICS & AW magazine cut, is made to very tight tolerances, has tool-less bolt/firing pin disassembly, Nitride/PVD finish, and it uses 700 clone triggers, and takes Zermatt Origin prefit barrels.

Also, Aero has them on sale right now on their website For only $811... And you get a $200 TT Primary trigger in the deal for that price.

I also bought one a few years back to try when they first came out, and wanted to see if the hype was real. I now have 5 of them... They are solid, and damn good tolerances from the factory. All of mine have been exceptional... Even the 1 I bought as a "blem" only has a simple finish imperfection on it, in a very unnoticeable area. I highly recommend them. All of mine are sub-1/2 MOA shooters with good barrels on them.

What is the max distance you have to shoot? The reason I ask is because if you only have 1k or even 1500 there is no need to go with a magnum cartridge. If your doing alot of 1 mile plus shooting, then I could see going 300prc. The origin has everything u need and nothing you dont, they are killer actions and Ray at zermatt is great to deal with.
